BELLEVIEW, Fla. (AP) — Authorities say a man and two children are dead following a crash at a Belleview intersection on Highway 484.

Authorities said Stephen Lynn of Ocala was heading east on County Road 484 and toward the intersection of County Road 467. Lynn was driving a large pickup truck pulling a cement mixer, when it failed to stop at a light and collided with an SUV.

The deceased were occupants of the SUV: 71-year-old Emilio A. Nunez of Summerfield, and his two young granddaughters, Nevaeh Nunez, 9, and Katalaya Nunez, 7.

The accident occurred at around 2:15 p.m. Thursday. Nunez had just picked up his grandchildren from Belleview-Santos Elementary School.

Lynn has been charged with three counts of DUI manslaughter. FHP says he failed a field sobriety test on site after the crash.

Three passengers in the truck were not injured.
